A. Vegetative
If you have checked Class I in your Land Capability Class, mark 1.
If you checked Class II in your Land Capability Class, mark 2.
If you checked Class III in your Land Capability Class, mark 3.
If you checked Class IV in your Land Capability Class, mark 4.
If you have checked Land Class I or II or III or IV, always mark 5 and 6.
If you have checked a Land Capability Class higher than 4, always, mark 7, 8, 9, and 10 (unless
other factors indicate something different.)
B. Mechanical
If you have trees within the boundaries of your field that are 2" in diameter at 5' high, mark 14.
If slope is greater than 1', not coarse texture and within Land Class I - IV, mark 15 and 16.
If field condition card states overhead water problem, mark 17.
If field condition card indicates moderate wetness problem, mark 18.
If you have visible gullies at least 6" deep and 12" wide, mark 19.
If none of the above mechanical practices have been marked, mark 20.
C. Fertilizer and Soil Amendments
